"Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men went multi-platinum. It turns out the lyrics of the ring's stand-out hit aren't quite as profane as you may take thought, although they may sound similar it. According to the grouping'south lead vocaliser, Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, the song is really nearly a wife talking to her recently deceased married man.

'La Isla Bonita' past Madonna

- Correct: "Last night I dreamt of San Pedro"

While information technology was never a striking on the same level equally many of Madonna's other songs, at least in the U.S., "La Isla Bonita" still holds a special place in the Queen of Pop's catalog equally it was her first track to have Latin influences. And it's not terribly surprising that this lyric is oft misheard, as San Pedro is non a real island.

'Livin' on a Prayer' past Bon Jovi

- Correct: "It doesn't make a difference if we make it or non"

Originally, Jon Bon Jovi didn't think that "Livin' on a Prayer" was up to the same standard as the rest of the ring'south work, and intended to go out the track off of their third album "Slippery When Wet." Thankfully, the group convinced him to include information technology in the finish, and it became the group's signature vocal (as well as the unofficial anthem of New Jersey). In 2013, the runway was certified past the RIAA as iii-times multi-platinum.
